Major Achievements in 2024!

2024 was a year full of exciting milestones and a fair share of challenges. Despite some hurdles along the way, we remained focused and engaged in pushing WeSendit forward, strengthening our presence, and expanding awareness through strategic partnerships and impactful events.

From Switzerland to LA, and from France to Dubai, we promoted our platform and explored the most intriguing hotspots for our business. Joining the Web3 Hub in Davos, the Binance Blockchain Week, TOKEN2049, Huawei Connect Europe, the NVIDIA GTC Conference, CVLabs gatherings, and the Elevate & Connect Event, was just the beginning. Each event brought new opportunities to showcase our vision, connect with industry leaders, and solidify our role as a trusted name in decentralized storage and file sharing. We are currently in the midst of planning and are incredibly excited about the upcoming events for this year. Our team is bursting with motivation and enthusiasm, eagerly anticipating the opportunities ahead!

Key Collaborations & Partnerships:

As we proudly represented WeSendit on global stages, we also worked diligently behind the scenes to strengthen key collaborations and forge impactful partnerships. Two of the major milestones this year were deepening our relationship with Huawei and Dwinity. “Our collaboration with Huawei led to the successful installation of our first system node in the Huawei Cloud. This achievement will be followed by additional installations each quarter, marking yet another significant step forward in advancing our mission. But that’s not all — this collaboration is helping us foster greater global outreach. Stay tuned! We elaborate with Huawei on a range of innovative ideas to explore new markets and reach new users. Exciting developments are on the horizon!

Our partnership with Dwinity marked another defining moment, highlighting our commitment to revolutionizing the world of digital data. With immense potential for our Node-System to store terabytes upon terabytes of data, we aim to set new standards and create innovative solutions that truly make a difference.

In addition to Huawei and Dwinity, we were fortunate to have steadfast support from partners like De Bacci Capital, Victus Capital, and Bitpanda, who played a crucial role in helping us achieve our vision. Each collaboration has been instrumental in building a stronger foundation for the future.

Product Launches & Development:

Achieving this year’s milestone was no easy feat, but it highlights the dedication and resilience of our employees and supporters. With a small yet highly skilled team, we boldly addressed everything from payment provider issues to implementing state-of-the-art platform enhancements, working on new features suggested from the Community and elaborating on Add-ons from our Roadmap (Did you know: Roadmap 2025 will be out very soon 🙂). Our determination and expertise enabled us to overcome obstacles and achieve excellence while staying true to our vision. Notably, we made significant progress in advancing our node system, establishing a robust foundation for a stronger decentralized infrastructure.

Just to mention a few of the accomplishments we’re proud of:

• Widget Add-on: Seamless file transfers are now possible directly on your website! Keep your customers’ journey on your website and push the trust of your brand. This is making data transfer even more efficient.
• Scheduled Sending: This feature enables users to schedule and automate data transfers up to 180 days in advance (for Paid Plans), providing exceptional flexibility and ensuring timely transfers.
• Node NFT Presale: We hosted Node-related webinars and successfully launched the Node NFT Presale, offering rewards and boosting your incentives for the beginning of the Mainnet with a 8x multiplier.
• System Nodes: We successfully deployed our first system node in the Huawei Cloud, quickly followed by a second installation. This laid the foundation for a redefined storage system, boasting groundbreaking security and reliability.

   

Node Documention on Gitbook: To ensure smooth operations, we’ve created comprehensive documentation on GitBook with step-by-step instructions for setting up and operating the storage-node. This documentation is regularly updated to address as many questions as possible, even though our simplified setup process leaves almost no questions unanswered.

Every improvement and feature launch last year was driven by a clear focus on Security and Performance! The community validated this with impressive content showcasing our advantages, including transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than others. Additionally, we aim to empower our users while staying at the forefront of technology.

Tokenomics Advancements:

Our commitment to our community has always been at the heart of everything we do. This year, we also wanted to show our appreciation and reward the trust placed in us by our supporters. Through strategic token burns, we’ve reinforced our dedication to creating long-term value for our ecosystem.

• We conducted multiple token burns, including a 50M WSI Reward Event aligned with the BTC Halving, bringing the total burned to over 250M WSI.
• To further show our appreciation, 14M tokens from the team wallet were staked to reward NFT Node Presale participants, offering an APY boost of up to 49%.
• In addition, we burned 50M tokens from the team token wallet, underlining our commitment to reducing supply and increasing token value for our community.
• Further burns tied to node presales included 6.27M WSI burned from node purchases in July alone.

• Web3 Integration & Accessibility:
• • Successfully listed $WSI on CoinMarketCap under DEPIN, marking an important step in our Web3 journey.
  • Staking rewards for node operators as a proof of commitment to encourage participation and strengthen the network.

     

• Community Engagement:
• • Introduced new Discord servers for English and German-speaking users to create dedicated spaces for collaboration and interaction.
  • Hosted events like AMA sessions, Quiz Challenges, and the 50M WSI Reward Event leaderboard, fostering a sense of connection and engagement.
  • Launched initiatives like a 10,000 USDT video contest and exclusive cashback offers during the Node NFT presale to recognize and reward user participation.

     

• User Growth & Global Impact:
• • We welcomed users from over 200 regions and territories, with Germany, the UK, and the US being our top markets. In the six months following our application’s launch in December 2023, we increased traffic and outreach by approximately 15%
  • Distributed more than 500,000 WSI in activity rewards, reinforcing our commitment to sharing the platform’s success with our users.

• Promotional Campaigns:
• • Ran seasonal campaigns like Black Friday (70% off) and Christmas Specials (50% off annual plans) to make our services more accessible.
  • Partnered with YouTube influencers and conducted PancakeSwap farming campaigns to reach new audiences.
